It all started with the idea that people should be able to readily understand and have a hand in the legal documents that affect their family’s future. I know that, all too often, legal documents can feel utterly impenetrable, and that traditional law firms can’t promise their clients the 1:1 attention or personally tailored services needed to overcome the confusion.

That’s why I do things a bit differently. I have been helping my clients navigate family and estates matters in a clear and collaborative manner since 2016. With my certifications as a collaboratively trained family lawyer, mediator, and arbitrator, my goal is to give my clients the right resources so that they can focus their energy on building a more positive future for themselves and their family. Since being called to the bar, I have practiced exclusively in the areas of family and estates law. I have helped people of all ages update existing estates plans or draft one for the very first time; drafted cohabitation and prenuptial agreements so that couples can have a thoughtful start to their new life together; filed direct placement and step-parent adoption

applications for growing families; and helped many people navigate the separation and divorce process to “consciously uncouple” for the benefit of themselves and their children.

Working together with both individual clients or in mediations, I help people achieve innovative solutions for protecting their family that aligns with their individual needs and values. Above all, my goal is to equip all of my clients with the knowledge to understand their legal situation, and the confidence to move forward with the most reasonable option for their family’s future.

Originally from British Columbia, I have been a mountain-loving Calgarian for over a decade, and attended law school right around the corner at the University of Calgary. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, arranging flowers from my garden, and indulging in the occasional macaron.

Staci strategically organized our mutual Powers of Attorney, Personal Directives, and Wills, and we felt empowered by her plan to sign a Testamentary Contract to secure our interests.”
